Bridgett’s and Kristin’s kitchen remodeling project was a great challenge. They wanted to remove the walls between the bedroom and storage area, and connect this to the lower floor with stairs. We developed, with our design team, a precise plan and drawings of the entire project. Once the walls were removed we had to support the ceiling with a metal beam. The entire configuration of the kitchen changed including plumbing and electrical. Red oak hardwood floors were installed, sanded and varnished. We replaced all outside windows, which required additional brickwork. Once the new kitchen cabinets were in place, the beautiful granite countertops were laid on top. Jovo Jokanovic, Arete’ Renovators’ owner and lead carpenter, built winding wooden stairs that are a true masterpiece.
